Fashion & Fun

It was one of those days. When you knew that all the pieces of the puzzle were aligning. This session is a testament that taking the time and preparing ahead of time makes all difference in the world.

Mom is drop dead gorgeous. So when she asked if I would do their family photos this year, I was ecstatic. We talked at length about where the photos were go, and since I have been inside of her house, it made things so much easier.

We talked about clothing, so when mom went to the store I recommended, she whipped it together quickly…and beautifully. I am so glad that she drove over to show me what she had picked out – she did SUCH a good job.

So enough with the words….here are the pictures!!!

And for those of you who struggle with what to DO with those darling photos, here are a few ideas:

Will Friday ever come?

I am so incredibly excited to be attending Nichole Van’s Lighting Workshop this Friday and Saturday. And now she is at it again with this incredible giveaway….don’t miss out!

Oh man, I hope I win…

Christmas Card Pictures, {Eagle Id Photography}

Oh – I have wanted to photograph these beautiful children for SO long.  I was so honored when Julie called me to see if I could do some quick photos for her Christmas pictures.  I had such a good time and have had even more fun touching these up…because I got to look into these GORGEOUS eyes.

Family Time – Eagle, ID Family Photography

I love to take pictures.  I could do it for hours and hours and hours.  Somehow, though, the dads don’t always have the patience for that.

This is by far the FASTEST that I have ever done portraits.  We were in and out in record time.

Take two teenager girls, add two busy boys, and you have a hecktick schedule.  Try to come up with a time for family pictures is always hard – but these guys did it seamlessly.  Enjoy your sneak peak!IMG_6848 cp wmIMG_6850 cp wmIMG_6858

Bekah

Audra

Mom’s biggest helper. Audra takes care of her siblings and makes sure that everything runs smoothly.

Audra was such a big help during our shoot. She made sure that everyone was were they needed to be. And as a firstborn, I can appreciate all that she does.

I know her mom couldn’t keep up with out her!

Taidan’s Prayer

Taidan’s mom wanted some sweet pictures of her kids pretending to pray. It was such a cute idea and Taiden looked so peaceful that I just kept snapping away as his sisters giggled.

Then this little turkey cracked open his eyes…it will always be one of my all time favorite pictures.
